Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The outdoor decks arelovely with a beautiful view. Food is very good. Rooms are spotless. Definitely a place you will want to come back to. A nice avenue to walk as well.

We were staying on Kent Island this time but had stayed at Annapolis on our previous visit and didn't know it at the time, but there is a ferry from Annapolis to the museum. If you are visiting the Chesapeake Bay area, you do not want to miss this museum & lighthouse.

The museums are fantastic with many old wooden fishing & crabbing boats used long ago with a short description of the history of each. Also are many other very interesting artifacts from the fishing and crabbing days on the Chesapeake Bay. There is also a real working boatyard where you can actually see wooden boats being built.

Is well worth the visit as we drove 40 minutes each way to see it. It is not just one museum as we had thought but a collection of museums and a lighthouse that had been moved to the museum grounds. The lighthouse is really special as you can walk up the spiral staircase inside and they have the living quarters and personal belongings of the person that manned the lighthouse just as they had been long ago.

Very friendly staff. Beatiful grounds. Would like a few more interactive exhibits.

Great exhibits. Nice space. My three year old loved it. He came dressed as a pirate too. Took a boat ride which was fun. The captain was very friendly, and let us check out the cabin.

Very awesome place to be and stuff to do! A very nice place to go for a weekend day trip!
